I simply love the imperfections and the rough surface of these beautiful beads.
I know i have beads that were made by hands and therefore are so special and unique!

There is a region in Ghana,West Africa called Krobo where most of the recycled glass beads are handmade using old soda and beer bottles.
If you like recycled glass stay tuned with my next post on hand painted recycled glass beads from Ghana.
It is very important to me to use recycled glass because it helps to reduce waste in the landfill and give a source of income to the people making them.In a way i’m supporting African economy by using African materials and that’s very important to me.
Stay tuned!
Watch this amazing feedback about my jewelry.

I notice a lot of people looking and favoriting this item on my etsy shop and i am very glad because this is to show my customers or anybody interested in being responsible for its environment that it doesn’t take much to be green.
This jewelry pouch is reusable and made with African wax.
I also use batik fabric made in Benin for an eco friendly gift wrapping
beautifully arranged with seeds and raffia.
I really think that the packaging has to be at the image of the product inside.
It is very important to me that my jewelry and my packaging follow my philosophy of reducing unnecessary waste out of the landfill.
You don’t get the link with the sunflower?
Well i like flowers and having those beautiful blooms last summer
was really something i wanted to share.
It is a sign of hope for me.
Why doing eco jewelry?
Because it is part of my philosophy that everybody can actually do something about environment.
Because we are not gonna wait until it is too late or blame somebody else but ourselves for our actions.
Everything is connected :every little leaf ,seeds, animals on this planet are linked.
I have hope that people can understand what an eco friendly product means for our planet.
If i produce a piece of jewelry and the seeds that i am using will biodegrade in the environment without leaving any negative impact then i am following my philosophy.
You don’t need to be sophisticated to be green :JUST MAKE IT HAPPEN.
To explain more about my beads:Why is glass greener that other materials?
Because first the glass beads i used are made from recycled old bottles of soda and beer and you do not need too much energy to make glass so recycled glass beads from Krobo region in Ghana are a perfect example of what everybody should do to reduce waste and consumption of energy.
I enjoy doing unique, handmade, sustainable and green creations.
I would like to share my new creations.
Happy Holidays!
